This article is an End-Time 101 piece, so please read carefully, but you do not have to understand every sub-topic that are herein, you just have to understand the main idea of this article, and by doing so, you would understand how the days of The Great Tribulation would be shortened.
But first, I would like to discuss the Prophecy of The Two Suns, because clarifying this prophecy would lead-up to explaining how the days of The End Times would be shortened.
There are similar prophecies from the Messages of Roman Catholic seers about a second sun that would be appearing in the sky in the future, these prophecies are referred to as The Two Suns Prophecy.
The Catholic Ministries that have disseminated these prophecies are from: John Leary, The Book of Truth, and from Our Lady of Emmitsburg through Gianna Sullivan.
The Following Messages are the Prophecies, I will number them for easy discussion:
Two Suns Prophecy # 1 from The Ministry of John Leary:
Jesus said: “My people, you know of a coming Warning or the Illumination of Conscience. This Warning will wake up many souls who are not worshiping Me on Sundays as they should. Everyone all over the Earth will experience their life review all at the same time. You will see a darkness at first. Then you will see two suns in the sky where one is a comet. After your life review, you will see a mini-judgment and you will visit your destination.” 20.April.2023.
Jesus said: “My people, when you see this comet that will appear as two suns in the sky, this will be the day of My Warning. 15.December.2022.
Jesus said: “On the day of the Warning, you will see two suns in the sky, and there will be some days of darkness. You will face your life review, a mini-judgment, and a taste of your present destination. After the Warning, you will have six weeks of conversion.” 09.September.2021.
Note: There are more messages pertaining to two suns in This ministry but these three are enough.
Two Suns Prophecy # 2 from The Book of Truth:
The time for the comet to appear, of which I spoke, when people will believe that there are two suns, is close. Saturday, April 6th, 2013 @ 17:00.
My dearly beloved daughter, the stars will soon change and the time for the comet to appear, of which I spoke, when people will believe that there are two suns, is close. Soon the wondrous spectacle will be seen by humanity, and there will be heard the sound of thunder, and it will seem that the two suns will collide. Your Jesus.
Two Suns Prophecy # 3 from The Book of Truth:
God the Father: No scientific evaluation will make sense when two suns are seen. Sunday, November 10th, 2013 @ 15:00.
Soon, the stars will no longer shine with their great intensity. Soon, new, unexpected signs, which will defy all human understanding of science, will be shown by Me, to a disbelieving world, as the beginning of My Intervention is revealed. No scientific evaluation will make sense when two suns are seen. No definition, by man’s limited knowledge, will make sense. Yet, they will take every sign, given to the world from Heaven, and say that this other human life exists in the universe. Your Beloved Father, God the Most High.
The first sign will be that the Earth will spin faster. The second sign concerns the sun, which will loom larger, brighter and begin to spin. Tuesday, November 12th, 2013 @ 20:30

Children, for the last 20 years I have oftentimes spoken of change. I have told you that there is no time for fear; there is only time for change. You must know by now that I have recently spoken of an arising of two suns. When you see the two suns on the horizon, you must know that this is a time of change, a time of this new beginning about which I have spoken to you before. After you see the two suns, there is only a short time before you will see a tremendous change in weather. After this, as you know, there are more changes to come.
Children, God did not create only the Earth. God is the Creator of the cosmos, with its many galaxies, many orbits, different stars and different planets. God is the Creator! There are other planets like Earth, far beyond your understanding.
I can tell you this: Even your governments and the Church authorities already have knowledge of the stars aligning and its implications upon you. You must not fear but must be prepared, primarily spiritually.
After a while, you will see a time when there is another body in orbit around your solar system, coming between Earth and the Sun and leading to tremendous devastation…
Look not too far before you will see two suns…
The aforementioned prophecies are the prophecies that pertain to The Two Suns Prophecy, but these prophecies are actually two events.
Two Suns Prophecy – First Event
Prophecies # 1 & # 2, pertain to a comet that would appear beside the Sun, on the day of The Warning, which is a sign that the day of The Warning has come.
Note: All of the two suns messages in the ministry of John Leary pertains to this event.
Two Suns Prophecy – Second Event
Prophecies # 3 & # 4, pertain to a planet that would appear beside the Sun, a number of months before The Second Coming of Christ, which is a sign that the day of The Second Coming of Christ would be happening soon.
Main Idea of This Article
We can read in Matthew 24:22 & Mark 13:20 that the days of The Great Tribulation would be shortened for the sake of those who believe in the Lord, and so other people would also survive this period.
The Great Tribulation is a purification process for this world, where people would have to be purified through suffering, it is a necessary process before The Second Coming of Christ; and a number of days or a timeframe has been allotted for this purification process; but it is written in the Gospels that the days of The Great Tribulation would be shortened to minimize the suffering of the people, believers or not.
A timeframe or a number of days has been allotted for The Great Tribulation, these number of days would not be cut short since it is written in the Book of Revelation that those number of days should be the timeframe for The Great Tribulation.
So how would the days of The Great Tribulation be shortened?
The days of The Great Tribulation would be shortened, not by cutting short the timeframe or the number of days, but by shortening the fulltime period of a day, which is 24 hours, to far less than it is.
So how would a 24-hour day be shortened?
A 24-hour day would be shortened when the Earth spins faster on its axis.
Going back to the Two Suns Prophecy – Second Event: months before The Second Coming of Christ, another planet would appear in our galaxy, beside the Sun, appearing like a second sun, it is not clearly visible for now, because with all probability, it is behind the Sun, it would appear like a second sun because of its significant size; and then the universal physical constant would change, in regards to how the Sun and the Earth rotates in their axis. The Earth will spin faster on its axis, but is not clear for now what causes the Earth to rotate faster, whether because of the Sun’s changed rotation or because of the gravitational attraction of the other significantly larger planet that had just appeared beside the Sun, that the Earth is getting closer to, because of the Earth’s revolutionary path; in anyways because the Earth is spinning faster on its axis, the fulltime period of a day is being shortened, from 24 hours, to far less than it is. According to another Roman Catholic seer from Colombia, his pseudonym is Enoch, the shortening of a day could be as short as 12 hours. But remember that this process of the days being shortened from 24 hours to 12 hours, is not immediate, but a gradual process, and would take months, until the time allotted for The Great Tribulation has been consummated.
A computer animation would be very useful in explaining this theory of mine, but I cannot afford to pay a computer animator; but there is a video in YouTube, with similar concept, showing how the spin of a larger circular magnet influence the spin of a smaller circular magnet, it is titled “Magnetic Damping – Spinning Wheel Generator”, it is on the 1:45 to 2:35 minute mark.
